I took my hedgie Oswald to the vet today, and he has wobbly hedgehog syndrome. the breeder failed to inform me about this then i got Oswald. The vet said he probably wont live past 18 months (he is 7 months old, so he will most likely pass away within the next year.) i am so upset and extremely mad.

Oh no, I’m sorry to hear that :( He’s really young, are you sure it’s WHS? It usually shows up when they’re a bit older, but it can happen with younger hogs too. There are a couple of other things with similar symptoms and not all vets are specialized in hedgehogs - not sure if yours is. I hope he’ll have a good life as long as it’s possible! It’s such a horrible disease.
Since WHS develops slowly, the breeder probably didn’t know he had WHS when you got him.
